Multislider "Z" workaround for note on/off?

Post by cloudswap »

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a multislider send both CC messages and note on/off, when touched. Anybody know an elegant way to solve this?

At the moment just a single slider, it should send two messages:
During slider movement: Midi CC
When finger touches: Midi Note On, when finger releases, Midi Note Off

I was able to do this with Fader, but not with MultiSlider...? It doesn't have a Z message.

Thanks, it's helpful, I understand the trick, its a great idea but I'm not skilled enough (or too busy) to work it out in practice :)
