Moog Minitaur
Moog Minitaur
Moog minitaur- anyone make a template for this bad boy yet?
Re: Moog Minitaur
Might buy midi touch just for their template >_<
Re: Moog Minitaur
Ever though about building it yourself?
Moog LittlePhatty Stage2, Novation Ultranova, Live8 suite, NI Massive, NI FM8, Max/Msp, LaunchPad, APC-40, and a lot more
Re: Moog Minitaur
I added a Minitaur tab to my combination Moog Editor Template:

I might be tempted to buy a Moog just for that badboy
Re: Moog Minitaur
A few things worth mentioning:
There are a few functions of the Minitaur that don't have an associated CC or sysex command, so there are a couple of things I really would have liked to include, but are impossible (unless Moog address it in a firmware upgrade)
-No independent control for release time, (which is possible from the Minitaur panel with Rev 2 software update, but does not have an associated CC#)
-No ability to route external CC control to various parameters, which is only possible from the software editor.
-No scrolling through presets (Minitaur does not respond to standard Program Change messages, which is a bummer)
However there are some cool 'under-the-hood' features accessible through the template
-Legato modes - Linear constant time and exponential are two cool flavours of glide
-Tweaking the range of pitch bend (up & down) - up to 2 octaves!
-Added a Mod wheel & pitch bend to the template itself, (filling up otherwise empty space)
-Key tracking of the filter up to 200%
-Osc2 Beat - This is sweet! You can dial in fine amounts of detuning
-Note Sync - retrigger oscs on each note for consistant punch
-Control of the volume of external audio
-Ability to set Amp & Filter velocity sensitivity
