How to change osc input port#?

Post by ForestCat »

How/where can I set the Lemur input port to something other than 8000? Couldn't find this in manual/web.
Thanks.

OSC applications are usually able to customize the destination port. What is your use case where you need to change the port ?
Do you have another application running on your iPad using the same port ?

Hi,

I'm using studiomux to create a wired connection (usb) for OSC traffic. And I use 2 iPads at the same time.
Studiomux makes it look like the lemurs are on the same computer. So 127.0.0.1 . This is fine, except it makes it impossible to send data to 1 iPad. They have the same address. 127.0.0.1 8000.
It would be great to be able to change the receive port in Lemur.
Maybe you could consider to add this possibility?

Thanks
