Reducing Latency With Wired Connection

Post by CE9958 »

Hey everyone,

So I've been continuing to experiment with my Lemur apps on iPads and all in all its been pretty awesome. The one issue for me is the shoddy nature of a wireless ad-hoc network connection for all my iPads (Currently running 3). I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best or at least solid hardwire perhaps midi interface that supports up all three iPads. It would be cool if it could also be used to run other midi instruments (such as a moog slim fatty etc) through as well all running to my computer. I just want to be able to really depend on these connections especially when they're being used in a live performance setting!

Thanks!

as long as you don't need MIDI clock, you should be fine with wireless. Just follow the advices in chapter 3.1 of the manual. I also have 3 iPads, and they all work fine without noticeable latency.
