Mu Device Interface, possible to change?

Post by 8bitslave »

Hi everyone!

When I call up certain effect racks within Mu, I get sliders instead of the "macro control" style interface that shows up... is there a way to toggle the style of interface that shows up for a device? Lets say I want knobs, or instead I want sliders... or XY pads, etc... is there a way I can switch this without going too deep into Mu and customizing through the Lemur Editor?

Thanks! :)

I solved this... There indeed is a toggle in the Device Browser Window on the right side where you can switch the view for Devices & Effects in Mu, cheers! :)

Hello, are you implying that when you simply change from or to the sliders labeled "macro#" that Live responds to the iPad with Mu? I haven't had one effect rack respond with Mu connected while every other separate effect works fine. Otherwise how do you get the templates included with Mu 1.2 to work with any effect racks, they all just need 8 controls?

Thanks,
b

Nevermind, got it, just had to enter the plug-in per track screen in Mu, then select the effect again and bam, everything update including the macro names. Brilliant!
