How to use controller functions of templates?

Hello there!
I'm new to Lemur and I can't find out how to use some templates functions. For example I've downloaded AKAI MPC 2000 XL and LIVE MXL templates. I'm using Live 8 and I can use drum pads on AKAI template but can't start, stop, record and use controller functions at all. Same with MXL.
I've set up Live 8 to use deamon 0, and it works with pads. Also I can use factory keyboard and pad preset but can't use faders for example.
Do I need to map manually start, stop, record...etc.or what? Because DJ Template has so many functions It will take a day to map all of them.
What I'm missing?

Hi Did you load the AKAI Live set?
It should have the controllers premapped . .
