Lemur iPad: using Pad for Program Change
Lemur iPad: using Pad for Program Change
I've never used Lemur before now. I'm trying to get a Pad to trigger a specific Program Change number. Any ideas? Thanks.
Re: Lemur iPad: using Pad for Program Change
there is a specific Program Change command message available in the MIDI Mapping tab of the editor. It outputs a typical Program Change command like from a master MIDI keyboard.
I had some problems with Program Change, but that's not the fault of Lemur or MIDI messages. Some VSTi's have a special way to recall and store presets, and there seems no other way to select presets with the mouse to get MIDI feedback (Lemur instantly displaying the new parameters). It may also depend on the host application.
Some day I would like to store and recall VST and VSTi presets directly to Lemur, storing them to the iPad's SSD, archiving them to any harddisk, bypassing the native VST/VSTi file management.
