So I wrote up a nifty template and coded in some stuff for a DCAM Synth Squad - Strobe native template but I'm only familiar with running MIDI so I can't do very specific things as far as resolution of knobs/faders goes, and I'm finding that the 0-127 structure value isn't enough of a range for a lot of these things
how can I get M4L running and set up so I can send out OSC signals and have Ableton actually receive the OSC signals.
Basically long story short, I have some knobs that need to be dead set to the 0.500 value they initialize with, but I'm unable to do that because the exact value doesn't fall under the range of resolution MIDI offers... (or at least I think that is what is happening)

Re: Using OSC for Dummies
Hi kryptonitejesus, did you get an answer on this one? Are you willing to share your template? I am pretty new and am also struggling with the midi resolution limit. E.g. i'm trying to make a knob that sets the pitch to
intervals of 12 steps.
And if you get OSC into ableton via M4L, how do i get the OSC parameter from the lemur to cyphers pitch knob?
thnx
