Even if you change to linear the knob still works in polar mode.
Not sure where else to send bug reports so just putting it here.
Thanks for making this by the way, the app on the ipad is better than the actual Lemur.
(and an old wishlist item - bipolar on the regular faders)

Using the Lemur app on an iPad 1.
Tried it again just now and it still doesn't work... All I did was open the editor, connect to the Lemur, drop a knob and set it to linear mode.
I also tried setting it to endless to see if that made any difference, but it does not. It changes over to Endless but still operates in a polar fashion.
I also tried saving and reopening the project, still no go.
I'm certain that this knob mode worked correctly on my actual Lemur as I used it many times, though I can't check now as I sold it about a year ago.

Regarding the Knob bug I can confirm too.
I am using ipad 1 and iphone 3gs. In both of them it doesn't work. Also using the Lemur editor in windows XP and VISTA.

Hi
It is functional on iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1
Probably be good idea to send a report straight to Liine support as well . .
Its also always a good idea to say what platform , version etc you are on when reporting problems . . .
You can add info to your signature in the User Control Panel so you don't need to type it always
Cheers

iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1

Linear mode isn't working for me on an iPad 1, either. In fact, my legacy files which use this mode are broken too. Sure would love to have this back.
Hi
Humblest apologies to all - You are correct about Linear' mode not working properly . . .
Sorry about that . . . My mistake . . .

No apology necessary! A few little things aren't working in the first major release of a ported piece of software - Yikes
So very happy to have the power of Lemur on iPad now.
Now stop reading this and get back to fixing linear mode! If It can be done before Friday then I can use my normal UI for my little gig this weekend - And all that matters is MY personal schedule, right? (yes, sarcasm).

I can also confirm this. Linear mode does not work. BTW, it shouldn't matter at all if you are on iPad 1 or 2, since the code is the very same. Fix it plz!
Hello everybody,
This is a known bug, should be fixed in the next app update. Sorry about the inconvenience.
Best regards,
Nick

Hi,
And it is important to mention what platform and os version you are on when you are reporting problems due to possible subtle differences . . .

Looking forward to the bugfix
Hey there,
unfortunately there is another problem with the Knobs:
In endless mode they jump back to 0 every time they are touched.
This is bad for me, cause I control BPM and position of my Sequencomat with it....
I can use other elements for that control, but maybe just a question:
is there any timetable when Liine will fix it?
In common I have to state that you at Liine have done a great job.
Some minor bugs are quite normal for a new release.
kind regards
mat

When do you think you can solve that issue?
At the moment i need to use faders instead of knobs but they need more space.
I really need linear knobs.
The fix is included in the update pending review by Apple.
Good news. Thanx!
