Newbie question: Can Lemur on the iPad run standalone?

Hi folks,

Sorry if this is a very basic question, but after a quick read through the manual, it wasn't clear to me if I had to run Lemur on the iPad in conjunction with the Lemur daemon on my Mac in order to control MIDI instruments.

I'm using an iPad, and iConnectMIDI to content to the MIDI devices that I wish to control with Lemur.

Hi AndrewI0,

If you use Lemur over Wi-Fi you will need the Daemon. If you use Lemur with wired MIDI you will not need the Daemon.

Many thanks M. I'm running over MIDI so should be able to keep everything relatively compact, and travel friendly.
