Hi,
i tried several times to download my projects from the Jazzmutant Lemur's internal memory with Lemur Editor 5.8.0, Editor 5.7, Editor 5.4 but unfortunately it didn't work.
Is there still a way to access the projects and transfer them to my PC?
any help welcome
Thanks

Re: download projects from Jazzmutant Lemur's internal memory
which version of the editor is needed for this purpose?
I have a collection so to speak of old editor versions, going back to 3.0.2 from 2012.

Formant+Eurorack, PPG wave 2.2, Korg MS-20, etc., EWI 4000s, QuNeo, etc., Mixbus32c, u-he, MadronaLabs, Samplemodeling, NI, etc., iPad2/4/Pro

Thanks for your reply.
I don't know which version it was possible to download the files from the original Lemur hardware.
The latest official version of Jazzmutant that I have is Editor v2.0.3; as far as I know, in that version it wasn't possible to download the documents from the hardware.
5.4—that was the Editor from Liine (screenshot) But the download button doesn't work with hardware, I think it only downloads from iOS devices.
Same for the newest Midikinetics Editor 5.8.0

Thanks, Phil. Unfortunately, I can't download projects from the original Lemur from around 2010 in this Editor version either.
Or where can I find the option to do that?
btw using win

Re: download projects from Jazzmutant Lemur's internal memory
Hi pyru,
It looks like there might be two ways to retrieve projects from the Lemur's (hardware unit) memory:
If you look at this document https://web.archive.org/web/20161007034 ... Manual.pdf, Appendix III - FTP Server (page 195) says that the Lemur is able to run an FTP server, which you can connect to from your computer using an FTP client or a web browser, which should allow you to download projects stored on your Lemur.
If you look at this document https://www.manualslib.com/manual/15232 ... Lemur.html, the chapter More About the Lemur - JazzEditor Relationship (pages 34-39), in particular Example 7: Downloading Your Lemur's Contents into Your Computer, suggests that you could try to connect the JazzEditor to your Lemur while the hardware unit has the project active that you want to retrieve. JazzEditor should then retrieve the project from the Lemur, and you should be able to save it using JazzEditor.
I don't have a Lemur hardware unit myself, so I cannot test this, but I hope that one of the two suggestions works for you.
Best,
Jochen

Thank you very much, Jochen.
After about 1h of testing and troubleshooting with Claude, I found the problem—there was an incorrect address in the gateway.
Now I can access it again via FTP using Cyberduck.
Thank you very much for your help.
Viele Grüße!
