Hello, I'm trying to grab some code from an old lemur file and can't seem to open it.
When I double click on the old (2022) file, the Lemur Editor opens on my Mac, but the file never opens. And there are no menu options besides Quit.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Opening Old Lemur Files
Hi, rockdude9k!
Does Command-O not work? Or clicking the blue folder icon in the upper left hand corner?
Could you try opening the Editor and then dragging your old file from a Finder window onto the Lemur icon in the Dock?
If those don’t work, and you can’t find a different version of the Editor that does, you can view the raw text file of a .jzml by dragging the file onto an open browser window (annoyingly, this doesn’t work with Safari, but seems to work with a Chrome-based browser or Firefox). Then you can wade through the wall of text to see if you can find your code (hint: use Command-F and enter SCRIPT as the search word, so you can skip through all the layout info to the next bit with a script in it).
Hope this helps!

Re: Opening Old Lemur Files
Command - O opens the file browser dialog to navigate to a file, but when I open the file nothing happens. Also, there is no menu item for "file, open" The only menu item that is available is "Lemur Editor" and then quit. (See attached screenshot).
Tried dragging from finder into the dock icon, that didn't work either.
There is no "blue folder icon" that I can see. I don't get the editor page at all. Just a menu item that says "Lemur Editor". Nothing else.

Re: Opening Old Lemur Files
you may try to find an older version of the editor. For Windows I have a whole collection of editor versions, but not for Mac.
