Hide gray tab bar at top?

Is there a way to hide the grey top bar that shows each interface in your project? It's been a while, but I seem to remember this being possible before. Like a property of the project or something maybe. It doesn't bother me as much on the iPad, but on iPhone it takes up so much of the screen and in landscape adds even more dead space on each side. Sorry if it's something obvious, I've been digging around the manual but have yet to figure it out.

it is not possible. It has been requested, but the gray bar is needed if one uses several tabs.

Oh bummer. I feel like it wasn't always this way. I remember in past projects using MIDI program changes to switch tabs remotely. It was great for live performances where I wanted multiple layouts, but didn't want the chance of the performer accidentally changing the layout to the wrong song. I hope they add a way to hide it for those who prefer that. Also it really eats up screen space on the iPhone version.

yes one can switch tabs with MIDI commands. However, if the MIDI stream brakes, the template may become nonfunctional. Also from a developer's perspective, where to put the menu button when there is no tab bar? Maybe there is a solution, but I guess with quite substantial rewriting of the Lemur code.

I agree that this bar is not ideal for small smartphone screens when one has only one tab. One workaround, although not ideal, would be to get a cheap smartphone with a larger screen.
