I just acquired a Samsung Galaxy View 18.4" tablet that has a 1920x1080 resolution. I found a post from about 2 years ago that said they were having trouble with Lemur at this resolution. Can anyone confirm that this has been resolved. I'm currently testing on an iPad but ideally I'd like to use an Android setup. I'd have to purchase a second copy of Lemur for Android just to test it so I'd prefer to get confirmation first.
Thanks,
Ken
Does Lemur support 1080p resolution
Re: Does Lemur support 1080p resolution
I'm probably the one who reported this and the bug I found was never resolved. If you made a project at 1920x1080 resolution it would not work, it would only show the top corner of the display sized very big. There is a hack where you can get an app to change your display resolution to 239dpi instead of 240dpi that would fix it, but you need to do this every time you reset the tablet.
The Lemur app hasn't been updated since 2015 so I'm starting to wonder if it has been abandoned. But I would like to know if it works on the Galaxy View 18.4" tablet, I am eyeing that combo myself. Perhaps you could try the app and get a refund if it doesn't work at that resolution?

Thanks for the reply synthetic. I've emailed support so we'll see what they have to say about trying it and getting a refund if it doesn't work. It looks like the Android app was updated as of May 2016 so it's been a while. I'd really like to get this to work.

Hi synthetic,
Based on this thread: https://vi-control.net/community/thread ... st-3905815
I've purchased Lemur for Android so I'll let you know in a day or so how it goes. My initial observations are that the project resolution is 1920x1036.
Stay tuned but it's looking promising.

Re: Does Lemur support 1080p resolution
Hi synthetic,
Did some basic testing and Lemur appears to work fine with the GV.
Confirmed the project resolution needs to be 1920x1036. At this point all I did was put a custom button in each corner to confirm I was getting full resolution.
I got further confirmation from this post: https://forum.liine.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=5430
Also, As an aside, I'm using a Plugable USB2-OTGE100 Ethernet adapter to hardwire the Galaxy View to my network along with my Macbook Pro and XR18 digital mixer.
Oh, crap! There goes about 50 hours of my life working on a new, hi-res screen layout.

BTW, Please ignore the bottom bar in my screen capture. It's not normally there while running Lemur. It's just an artifact of my screen capture.
