Hi! First post, here goes:
I have Logic on a Macbook Pro and Cubase on a PC laptop. As a quick, dumb way of being able to use the power of both, I want to set up a very simple link between them using Lemur. All I need are the basic functions - goto a certain beat / bar, play, stop, record, goto start of track and so forth. If I can press 'record' and have the two laptops start recording from the same place at the same time, I've won. I'll then route the two separate audio outputs to a mixer and and be able to work between two DAW's. If I need to mix down, I can put all the stems on one machine. If I need to make detailed changes to plugins etc, I can do it on the laptops directly. I just need them to play and record in sync.
Does anyone know of a pre-made template or can anyone point me in the right direction? Much obliged!

Re: Basic transport synchronisation between two laptops
Reaper can handle this very well with built in features over a simple lan connection.
