I am new using Lemur, I just download a template from http://www.homemusicproduction.com/free ... templates/ installed in my ipad, created the midi port using Lopomidi and also in cubase but no communication at all. Nothing works.
The instruction on the template were:
- Create a GENERIC REMOTE device in the Device Setup menu, and import the provided XML file.
Set the Input and Output to your Lemur MIDI0 port.
- If you are using one of the 16ch controllers, add two MACKIE CONTROL devices. Set one to
MIDI0 port (IN and OUT), and the other to MIDI1 port (IN and OUT).
- If you are using the 8ch controller you will only need to setup one Mackie Control device and set
this to MIDI0 port (IN and OUT).
- It's a general good practice to click the RESET button on the Mackie Control device setup page
after setting up the device. This will ensure that Cubase sees this and updates the project.
- In the Device Setup > MIDI Port Setup page, uncheck "In All MIDI' for the MIDI0 and MIDI1 ports.
This will stop the Mackie Controls from sounding notes on your MIDI tracks.
- Using the Lemur Editor, load the Lemur template into Lemur. In the Lemur app, add two MIDI
Targets and set one to MIDI0 (IN and Out) and the other to MIDI1 (IN and OUT). If you have the
Lemur Deamon setup and running, these ports may be called Deamon Output 0 or Deamon
Output 1 (If you are using the 8ch Controller than you only need to setup one port in the Lemur
app and set to MIDI0 port.
*** I am posting my setup, see the pictures below. I need some help please!
