Fader Color Will Not Change

Windows editor. New template. Drag in a fader. Color changes on the properties page make no difference, remains cyan. Other type of objects behave as expected. Any thoughts on this???

The fader "head" remains cyan and has a red outline, however the fill color of the fader for how much is faded uses the selected color.
