Future of Djing with LEMUR

Post by denisp2 »

Here is my take on the future of DJing, with LEMUR, traktor, and my own custom midi Controller&Delay.
Any feedback is apreciated, & better videos are comming...

Niiiice!

My take on the future of DJing with Lemur is actually not DJing but performing live - and by "live" I mean gathering up vst synths and drum machines and controlling the lot with Lemur and peripheral controllers - NOT the typical "yeah I 've thrown some loops in Ableton Live, Im triggering them and calling it "live".

My Lemur template for this purpose consists of 8 pages - each one strategically designed for the task at hand and it would take me a lot of pages to analyze - explain.
Here's an older video I've uploaded https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlZg-uf8PuU - Since then I have acquired an Arturia Beatstep and a second BCR2000 running the custom Zaquencer firmware which turns it into a sequencer on steroids.

I have a gig next Saturday where I will be, finally, making the dream come true - a full hour live set of electronic music using nothing but synths and sequencers (no loops whatsoever, no pre-recorded stuff). It will be cool if I'll be able to record the outcome and share via Mixcloud or whatever.
