Hi
I have set up Lemur with Cubbase 7.5, and everything so far is working great
So far I have mapped all these commands to work in cubase:
Zoom ins
Zooms Outs
Sustain (cc64)
Pitchbend
2 Drum pads
Mod Wheels:
1
7
11
16
15
BUT... I have spitfire strings loaded in my template and they have vib, portamento, tightness and release assigned to cc numbers higher than 16, so i can`t finish the command in Generic Remote and the Value/Action controller set ups only go to 16.
Is there a way around this? I really don`t want to go through my massive template of strings changing each of these in Kontakt.
Also, how do I set up a fader that`s really a pitchbend, that I can double tap so it snaps back to the middle, but if you slide the fader above the halfway it makes the note go sharp, and below the half way makes it go flat? That one is certainly beyond my understanding - I`m a composer not coder...
Many thanks
Lemur/General Remote/ - Where is CC21?
Re: Lemur/General Remote/ - Where is CC21?
Something is not right in your description of the problem. Lemur is, of course, capable of sending ANY CC midi message.
As for the pitch bend, after cofnfiguring such a fader (or slider, which is better suitable for this purpose as it can be made to "return" to center JUST like a real pitch bend wheel) the AMOUNT of bending is not a Lemur matter but a setting usually configurable in the controlled synthesizer - plug in.

Thanks for the reply.
My description of the issue is accurate.
In Cubase, Generic Remote, under Value/Actions, there is no midi CC above 16.
I'm not blaming Lemur, I would just like to know how I can assign a fader to cc17 and above.
Many thanks..

Re: Lemur/General Remote/ - Where is CC21?
Ooooh I understand now. But unfortunately I cannot help as I dont use Cubase
And here's one idea for the PitchBend - if you cannot affect the bend amount in the software...just play with the "scale" settings of the slider.
Make the default 0 - 16383 to something smaller. If for example, by default the pitch bend provides 12 semitones bending.....then the whole scale is -12 to +12 = 24 semitones. You need 2 so:
0 - 16383 -> 24
??? -> 2
??? should be something like 1365 so perhaps you are looking at a scale of:
7509 - 8873
or something like that - absolutely not sure if this will work though - the best solution still remains to leave the pitchBend intact inside Lemur and set the amount of pitch bending inside the software instead.
