Chaining M-Audio Midisport Unos

Post by purpleduck »

Hello.

I'm here because I need to post a basic question on how to Midi-wire connect Lemur to my Mac.

I already have the camera connection kit...are two M-Audio Midisport Unos ok for the job? This is the cheapest way I could think of. I tried to google about chaining those units but didn't find anything. Can I chain them so to get the MIDI from Lemur to the Mac?

My audio interface doesn't have MIDI-in, so that's why I thought of the two M-Audio Unos. Before doing a stupid buy I wanted to make sure it would work...

do you have a router in your setup? In case you had, there are some advantages with wireless. Any ad-hoc network (without router) will work.

But if you go without wifi, I think these two interfaces should work.

Can't see why they wouldnt work...Just make sure they'r eclass compliant so that your iPad will recognize the Midi part of it.
