Hey, I could do with some help...

Post by Weston »

Hey people

Glad to be on the board. I've been a lemur user for a while now but I have come across a problem that I can't seem to work out.

I have my lemur connected to iConnectMIDI4+ in computer port 1. I then have 2 MacBooks connected on computer ports 2 and 3. I want to send the same MIDI information from 1 button on Lemur to both MacBooks at the exact same time. I can send them individually but not at once as I can't seem to work out how to send 1 button in Lemur to 2 MIDI Targets... Any suggestions?
Huge thanks

hm, you're not using Lemur Daemon right? It should work with that. Don't know about iConnectMIDI4.
However I'm posting to suggest you might want to move this topic elsewhere, people might not see your issue here, try Troubleshooting.

Hello,

I have the IconnectMidi2. The included editor tool allows you to route input to one or several outputs.
So you can probably do the same on the IconnectMidi4 :
- route usb #1 to usb #2 AND usb #3.

But this setting should be the default factory settings... so maybe you have some other thing not working. You can try to "reselect" the in and out in Lemur on the IPad. Sometime it seems to lose track of things between sessions.
(Current project is Nord Drum 2 Template with sysex feedback)

Can't see why they wouldnt work...Just make sure they'r eclass compliant so that your iPad will recognize the Midi part of it.
