Unable to Midi learn in Mixemergency

I have connected everything based on the videos on the liine.net website as well as various youtube videos (which are pretty much the same as liine.net). Yet I cannot midi learn anything from Mixemergency. I have even gone into the Midi panel of mixemergency to ensure that all inputs and outputs correspond to the Daemon inputs and outputs. The Daemon is setup correctly with the ipad for the project as well, yet when I attempt to learn a function in Mixemergency it does nothing.

I cilck "MIDI" in mixemergency. This highlights all of the midi learnable functions in the Mixemergency. Then I click on the corresponding control in mixemergency for which a window pops up with a button "Learn New Control". I click the blue "Learn New Control" button, which then turns gray and then I press a button or fader in the Lemur app on my ipad, but it never learns!!!

Have you actually enabled midi output in your Lemur testing fader? As in, have you enabled midi target 0 - 7, and some CC or something?
