Finale Shortcuts Template

Hi guys, I've been using lemur for quite a while now, and I have finally time to create a shortcuts template for finale, but for some reason the software doesn't seem to receive them. If I open a text file, short cuts like copy and past work perfectly, even simple keyout scripts, but nothing in finale. Any idea?

is Finale the only software that doesn't work with copy/paste key commands from Lemur?

Yes, pro tools, Photoshop, word, etc. they all work. I'm using finale 2014. And idea why?

well one idea is that Finale does not allow 'virtual' key inputs. Only key inputs from a physical keyboard.

I would try with a macro recorder software. If this doesn't work with Finale, then you know it for sure.

You could probably jerry rig something with Lemur in combination with OSCulator, the latter which supports sending system keyboard messages. Worth a shot.
