I want to buy Lemur for Ipad.
In the Manual I found nothing about NRPN Midi Messages.
Isn´t it possible?
I have a Generic Remote Map for my BCR 2000 with NRPN Messages to use Cubase Channel EQ Frequency with 14Bit.
Another great feature of my BCR 2000 is the 4x encoder speed settings.
Is there anything in Lemur that does that job?
Example if I turn a dial very quick I go through the 14Bit range very fast, if I dial very slow I get the precision to control the Frequency in very small steps.
NRPN 14Bit possible?
Re: NRPN 14Bit possible?
Hi
14bit RPNs and NRPNs should certainly be possible though they are not always 14bit resolution I think you will find . . .
They are really nothing more than a bunch of CC's sent in a particular order . . . 2 to select and another 1 or 2 for data, and the following 'null' if needed
And the Pitchbend output is also 14bit if that is of any importance for you . . .
Cheers

Re: NRPN 14Bit possible?
Is it possible to program a virtual "encoder" to get specific dial speeds to have bigger steps for 14Bit Pitchbend range?
Re: NRPN 14Bit possible?
High
Yeah it should be possible with some creative scripting - i think . . .
Time & distance can give velocity so fast/slow movement could be detected.
Using this with an endless encoder and then displaying the result.
Or simpler still ie no physics, would be to have some switches to select speed
It just would not be as impressive or as 'natural' as a motion . .
Cheers

Re: NRPN 14Bit possible?
You could indeed do this with a script.
Re: NRPN 14Bit possible?
Thank you very much!
