Midi slave to ableton Live sequencer

Post by jenz »

Hello all!!!

I'm trying to modify the Radial Step Seq that comes with Lemur 5... I don't want it to be master. I want it to be slaved to Live 9. how do I do this?
Testing it at home over wifi with Lemur Daemon but will use it with iConnectMidi for Gigs. When I have tested it, the notes from lemur came trough but not the sync...

Thanx

Make sure that you enable "Slave Clocks to MIDI" in the Settings page, and that your MIDI Target is configured to receive the clock from Ableton.

"Slave Clocks to MIDI" Where? In Lemur or in Live 9?

Hi
Sorry but a quick look in either would show you ...
It's in the Lemur app Settings page - accessed from the Settings button then 'More Settings'
And Live needs to be sending Clock on the Target you are using,
And the Lemur object has to be configured for that Target as well

cheers

It works thanx!!!

Other question: I want to have a button to reset easch parameter (Step on/off, Pitch, Octave etc..) and one button to randomize these same parameters... I know and made similar buttons for other things in my patch and it works well but not with the radial seq... How do I make these? What are the scripts needed?

Thanx again!
