Insert a StepNote or StepSwitch object - make it any number of rows besides one (2,3,4).
Enable "paint" attribute.
Drag from a step in top row down to a step of rows below - if you are not cautious enough and your finger (the cursor) extends beyond the boundaries of the height of the object, all steps after the one you painted in the last row become "painted" too.
In my example template - an old switch object for reference, does not display the same problem.

Ah, just noticed, disabling "capture" fixes the problem so it's a minor thing anyway!
