Hello to everybody. The question is that in some M4L devices, or even in Ableton effects like Looper, if you send data to some parameters (like "speed" in Looper) from Lemur you can´t trigger them to zero, just to +/- 0.28.
Is there any way to avoid this and setting them to zero from Lemur with MIDI data?
(Sorry for my bad english)
Thank you very much and best regards.
Setting Ableton parameters to zero
Re: Setting Ableton parameters to zero
Hi,
I believe this to be a Looper bug in Live. For example, if you manually set the Looper speed to its central position using a mouse, Live sends out velocity 0x40 on the assigned controller. If you then transmit velocity 0x40 from Lemur to Live, Live sets the speed to 0.28 rather than 0.00. Pity - it makes the Looper speed control unusable from MIDI, as it can never be reset back to zero.
Anyone got a workaround?
David
