Lemur 5 as a slave in Live

Post by mmake »

Hey all,

I've been trying to noob around the documentation and the forum, but i have trouble understanding some things about the new sequencing objects and how to midisync them with Live.

I wish to build sequencers in Lemur, and have them sync to the clock sent by Live.

To sum it up. How do i sync Lemur clock to Ableton?

Hi
My reading of the Addendum is that the Clocks are linked to the Targets 0 - 7 ... See Pg. 12 ...
So sending Sync from Live to Target 0 syncs Clock 0 with Live ...
If not receiving Sync then the clocks are Internal only ....

Oh
You also need to enable 'Slave Clocks to MIDI' in settings . . .

That is so cool...'Slave clocks to MIDI' did it! The default MonoSequencer started rolling with Live's clock right away. I'll have to dig a little deeper, if i'm able to build some sequencers on my own. Thank you for helping!
