"Omni" OSC send?

Post by cloud_canvas »

Hi,

I don't think the current Lemur Editor interface allows for this, but in terms of a workaround, is it possible to sort of "omni broadcast" to all of your listed OSC destinations?

I've been working with a "one Reaktor Ensemble to one Lemur layout running on one iPad" type configuration, but I'm trying to let that OSC stream be accessible to other computer for mapping type stuff too. And you can only pair your Lemur objects to one output destination.

I tried to see if I could maybe just send to a port on OSCulator running locally on my computer and then just kinda forward it to other computers on my local network but I don't think that's possible. Any ideas?

Hi
Maybe do a search on UDP Broadcast and MultiCast . . .
Network wise it should be possible to send to multiple devices this way
Then those devices just need to send back to same place.

I think I looked into it a one stage but can't quite remember details
Will try to have another look at some stage as it is a good feature to be able to use . . .

Cheers
