Working on a doctoral dissertation involving 8 channel surround using Lemur as a control surface/8 channel surround panner.
Would love to interact with anyone with experience in this kind of lemur programming!
8 channel surround panning
Re: 8 channel surround panning
Surround panning for eight individual audio channels at the same time, or as a controller for a 8-channel panner?
Regular panning control for standard surround formats works in several DAWs already. I use it almost every day.

Re: 8 channel surround panning
Thanks for the quick answer!
I have 8 mono channels I would like to pan using Lemur for a joystick style interface. Center is all channels at equal volume. My speakers are arranged equidistantly in a circle one every 45 degrees (NOT 5.1 or 7.1 so typical panners oriented towards those formats won't work.)
Total noob here so I'll probably need quite a bit of hand-holding through the process.
