Faders not reacting correctly

Hi.

I am new to Lemur but very exited about it. I am controlling ableton 8 with it, and my pads and buttons are all responding exactly the way I want them to, but my faders are not. It seems as if they are transmitting a hold message. I've assigned a fader to a filter, but it jumps to full on when I push and back to a closed filter when I remove my finger.

What am I doing wrong? Help is more than appreciated by this newbie!!!!
