PushScales
PushScales
Hello,
this my first attempt to simulate the notes/scales of PUSH.
Now it´s working with the Major Scale only. I am a dummy programming Lemur. I need help to upgrade this.
You could make everything you want with this.
Download the module: https://sites.google.com/site/germanova ... ects=0&d=1
Other versions with lots of scales, keys and chords on later posts in this thread.
Help to make it better.
Thanks

Re: PUSH Scales Simulator (with download)
I think this is a great idea.
I found this while looking for LiveControl 2 options for other scales. The layout for LiveControl 2's keys is small, especially because it's on the iPad. Having a Lemur Template which would use almost the entire screen for the keys/buttons, would be very useful... especially if it includes obscure and interesting scale types.

PushScales
Hello,
I would like to use it like a midi keyboard (push like chords/scales).
I change the layout. Now the grid Grid occupies all the screen. To be similar than Push pads (bigger pads).
I make a menu that let us change Low-octave, Key and Scales.
I put all the scales that comes with Push.
The color of the grid change depending of the scale. Like Push.
Download the module:
https://cloudpt.pt/link/e9b9d393-88ed-4 ... V0.35.jzml
Could somebody try and tell me if it has bugs.
Thanks
Feel free to updade it (i would like to see it with more functionality).
Thanks again.

With me, the sound do not continue. Try another sound source (some of them do not stop).menemol wrote:if you press any key and stop - the sound continues to play

Re: PushScales
The pads in v36 are only sending note on and upon changing the scales it sends all the notes because the trigger settings of the pads are set to "any" where they should be set on "-".
I tiried a quick fix if you dont mind.

There are some really nice tutorials on how to play Push as a melodic instrument (different ways to play scales, chords and their inversions).
Thought i post this so that this template makes more sense to people.
I might integrate a chord module now that i have an idea how to set up chords I hope it is ok if i go on developing on this template.

Re: PushScales
Here is the current PushScale Template. It is part of my Reason System so there are a couple of controls that can be deleted (i will do a slimmed down version once it is finnished).
The Prog and Sequ buttons dont work atm and the Patch, Track ad Transport buttons are Reason specific.
I have adjusted the chords that overlap the right side of the pads, hope they are right. And i still have to do this for the chords overlapping the top side of the pads.
On the right side you can select what type of chord you want to trigger. They were implemented according to the Push Tutorial i posted above.
The Hold function currently works for one key pressed, so either a single key or a chord.
The chord section should work for all 7note scales.
I also want to implement a way to save specific chords to built together a progression- that is what the "Prog" button is for.
I forgot it only works with Midi Target 1.
