Smart guitar with Lemur?

Post by colobot »

Hello.
I wish to make a control surface similar to GarageBand's Smart Guitar on iPad, which will control guitar sampler.
Is it possible with Lemur? Currently i can't see string-like controls there, but may be there is a way to emulate these through buttons for example?

I would take iFretless or Orphion. Both apps have virtual velocity and polyphonic pitchbend.
Formant+Eurorack, PPG wave 2.2, Korg MS-20, etc., EWI 4000s, QuNeo, etc., Mixbus32c, u-he, MadronaLabs, Samplemodeling, NI, etc., iPad2/4/Pro

Phil999, thanks a lot! I didn't know about iFretless, and i'll give it a look.
But as I can see, it's not exactly what I need, because it doesn't allow easy chord picking. And no scripting.

I'd suggest using 6 horizontal rows of multipads, simulating 6 strings with each pad representing a fret or note. Add some extra controls for articulations and you're done :). Damn it, if I had more time I'd do it myself, I've had Vir2's Electri6ity installed for quite some time without using it much but I'd love to, such a good sounding and versatile library.
