Is it possible to use hardware knobs, faders, and buttons
to send midi to lemur to trigger object expressions
sent then to final destination?
Sometimes it's nice to turn a real knob ye know...

Using Lemur as a midi translator
Re: Using Lemur as a midi translator
it's possible I guess....but you 'll have definitely some latency as the midi message will have to go wireless both ways - go to Lemur, be processed and then return to its intended destination.
You could even use scripts on MIDI, MIDI_ARGS and then midiout, noteout and ctlout to directly translate midi messages without using any other objects...

Re: Using Lemur as a midi translator
So could I use an iconnect midi box and have
Everything wired for less latency
Then..,,
I could press a button on a launch pad
Or midi fighter and trigger a script in
lemur sent out to traktor.
What would the script or midiarg
look like?

Yes it is , i used it in a template for the ipod touch to translate and increase the synthstation25's functions , i.e. converting the mod wheel to whatever
or making the buttons do whatever on whichever channel.
