Why thank ye kindly :).

Your scrollcode made it much easier to accomplish than my usual method though, so kudos to you too hoss!

Now, let's see how fast the commercial devs get on the case and use our code eh?

:-(

Here I sit with some time on my hands, and I can't even copy and paste what looks to be my panacea.

It will have to wait until I get home.

Oh, Joe . . . :-P

What I had looked at earlier, is there a way to see the code? All I saw was a little funny icon in the upper left corner. I wasn't able to do anything.

Either way, I'll have more time tomorrow.

Truly, thanks again guys :-)

Download the later ones.

SC fixed that in Rev1.

I added a little trick then.

You should grab them all and see what changed in the code as well as the functionality. It's nicely incremental, one thing changing at a time (mostly) in each revision. Quite handy, that way.

Okay, then. I've been able to open and use the jzml you included, but I am unable to edit it "InApp." As I touch any object within edit mode, it closes it. The task list shows it's still running Lemur, but when it closes it closes hard.

I'm going to try just doing it in the PC editor, make my changes, sync and test. As long as it runs, I don't care about the in-app part. I am not entirely comfortable with that in-app editing feature anyway.

Hello again, gentlemen,

I'm am only just getting back to this after a prolonged absence; I have introduced Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 into my setup, and have had (and continue to have) significant issues with it since, but that's another story. It's one thing we have to watch out for when we're designing custom solutions for ourselves ! Price we pay, but boy do I want to get back to making music for a change !!

Anyway, have there been any new developments from anyone on this since our last posts ? While I understand the underlying technology (for the most part) I still color myself confused. Might we take this a couple of steps further ? Still being a neophyte with the Lemur way, I am finding it difficult to make any substantive modifications.

Perhaps we can start by making sure we're on the same page. Currently, it just keeps crashing on me. Is anyone else having such issues ? I am on an iPad 1, with iOS 5.1.1.

Thanks,
Glennzone

Hey :).

Don't really understand what you mean when you say "new developments"? You asked for swipe/scroll code and examples, you got swipe/scroll code with examples!

You'll have to be a bit more specific.

As for the crashing - are you using any Knob.objs with Bipolar Mode activated? These are known to be incompatible with all but the Classic skin in Lemur.v4 - could that be the issue?

Just getting back into this again, and it's still an issue.

I understand your confusion. "New developments" meaning, it did not work for me due to the crashing, and even now it continues to do so. I didn't know if anybody else has gotten it working, or under what circumstances.

Believe me, I got the swipe/scroll code examples I asked for, but I couldn't stop the iPad app from crashing, and I had other things to make progress with, so it got put down. I'm taking some time once again to crawl deeper inside the coding, but admittedly, I must get more familiar with Lemur, the IAE, and the PC Editor. I'm going to take the next few days to work through this.

So, is anybody out there using it successfully ?
