A single push = a single trigger.

Post by andifall »

Hey, bit of a n00b here. Only just made the switch from TouchOSC to Lemur.

With that being said, in TouchOSC I used to be able to create a push button where no matter how many times I pushed the button, it would trigger a single sample every time I pushed it.

When I create a custom button or pad in lemur, it seems to only trigger a sample every 2 times I push it. The first time I push it, the sample triggers (and the ON state is on the iPad) and the second time does nothing (yet the OFF state is displayed) even though the sample continues from since I pushed it before.

I have been to the 'Behavior' part of the button but whether I set it to Pad or Switch mode (in Custom Button), it does the same thing.

I want it so that the button is a 'push' button and plays the sample EVERY time I push it and tells me when the sample is ON or OFF.

Thanks for any help!

The "Pads" object is a momentary trigger - perhaps you need to set the target instrument / sampler retrigger settings?

Or is it that you want it to behave like a momentary switch, but stay lit for the duration of the sample (while playing) like a latching switch?
