How do i activate a KBMouse out target in the Daemon

I am having problems understanding the concept.

I went to the Daemon and hit add and double clicked on Mouse and Keyboard and the i was asked to select a source port but there is none. Thought it would detect my mouse and keyboard or soemthing along this line. How is this done?
