xy pad overriding Ableton automation
I am running into a strange issue though that I'm sure there is a simple work around for. When I record the xy coordinates as automation data in ableton, as long as I still have lemur running on my ipad lemur seems to continuously broadcast the current midi cc values or something as I cannot get Live to read the automation data that has been recorded, I have to constantly hit the BACK TO ARRANGEMENT button in Live to get it to prioritize the recorded automation over that coming in from the lemur even though I am not touching my ipad, is there a way to get the lemur to only send out those values while my finger is on it?
Re: xy pad overriding Ableton automation
Not sure what has went wrong but Im quite sure, all objects in Lemur only transmit messages when certain parameters are changed - for the multiball that would be x,y,z. If those are not changing the object does not transmit messages.

Hi
So what object are you using for the x-y ? And how have you set it up?
If it is a MultiBall and you are using Ephemeral and low Friction it will continue to send stuff even when it disappears . . .
Change the Friction or gate of the z var . . .
