From Lemur App to computer
How do you share templates made in the Lemur App i.e. get them from the App to your computer?

I'm wondering if it's possible via iTunes? I think that's one way you can transfer templates from computer to iPad. Wonder if it works vice versa? Can't test this myself as I don't have iTunes on my PC (long story!). Would be so cool if you could just connect your iPad to your computer via USB and have the Lemur Editor and Lemur App talk to each other using this connectionKaatza_Music wrote:I diddo that question. Connect your ipad to the same wifi as your computer. Open the Lemur Editor, open connections, select the ipad on the list, press download and the template will be downloaded to the computer, save the template.

You seem to have left out the bit about setting up an ad hoc network. I'm pretty sure (because that what the Liine tutorial videos tell you) you need this to connect devices for starters.
I managed to get the iPad connected to an ad hoc network created on a Windows Vista laptop. The only way I could get it to work was without encryption, but it worked. Once set up I was able to connect the iPad, launch lemur, connect to it from the Lemur editor on the laptop and then download the template I'd made in the Lemur App to the Lemur Editor Fantastic, as this has allowed me to resolve a couple of issues I was having (see other post about fader scale).
So glad I got this working as I've killed two birds with one ad hoc network - added the things in the editor I was struggling with in the App and also found out how to get templates from the App to the editor, where they can be saved and shared. Fantastic I'm friggin loving Lemur now
