Any instructions on USB tethering on Android?
I'm not happy with the latency over wireless so I want to try USB tethering. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any information on how to do it. I'm able to establish a tethered network connection between my tablet and my computer but I can't figure out how to tell the Lemur daemon to use it. I can ...

Problems with changing value of switches from other elements
I've run into this problem a number of times: I have an array of switches that send Note On/Off messages. By themselves they work fine. However, I need to synch them to items on-screen in the DAW (e.g. Mute/Solo) so that when they're activated/deactivated within the DAW the Lemur project stays ...

Re: Tutorials on how to send timecode to the Lemur project?
For anyone else who comes across the same issue - the Cubase 7.5 implementation of the Mackie Control uses CCs to transmit the time code. Everything I found on the web says it uses sysex. Once you know where to look it's straightforward to decode it and create any display you want...! Also, it does ...

Re: Tutorials on how to send timecode to the Lemur project?
One other question - where is the AlphaTrack template from Macciza? I found one AlphaTrack "module" but it doesn't have timecode and it's not from Macciza.
Thanks again,

Is there a Mackie Control MIDI message reference?
I'm trying to add some Mackie Control functionality to a project and I know there are references out there that explain which function goes with which MIDI/SYSEX data but I can't find them. I've found references to them in forum posts but the links are dead. I can reverse engineer from some examples ...

Re: Intermittent connection after adding new USB keyboard
Thanks - I think there are two issues. First is that the Lemur connection is being dropped more frequently all of a sudden. I don't know how that could be related to the new keyboard - just coincidence, maybe. Second is that the new keyboard arrived with "MIDI Merge" set to on. I don't completely ...

Re: Tutorials on how to send timecode to the Lemur project?
Yeah - I can use the SurfaceLCD element to show track names but when in timecode mode it's blank. I'll check out those other projects. Within Lemur, is there any way to monitor what's being sent on that port? I don't know how the SurfaceLCD element gets the data from Cubase - I just set up the ...

Tutorials on how to send timecode to the Lemur project?
I can't seem to find any tutorials or other information that shows how to get the timecode information from the DAW to the Lemur project. I've found some threads that relate to timecode but they seem to be more advanced discussions - I need the basics. It seems the surfaceLCD element in timecode ...

Intermittent connection after adding new USB keyboard
Hello all, I've been using Lemur for several months with no issues (after getting everything set up) but am suddenly getting frequent connection loss. The only thing different in my setup is I just added a new USB keyboard (Studiologic SL88). I'm on Win10 and am using loopMIDI to configure the ports ...
