Re: any sublime text users here?
i'll experiment with a syntax def, making something like this will help me understand lemur's scripting language better. I find it a bit frustrating that lemur's canvas object is a derivation from html5 canvas, so typical canvas tutorials with js and html5 don't apply. is there a typical 'language ...

Re: Alias Question
more importantly, what's the use of an alias? could someone elaborate? I understand them in the context of symlinks in *nix but not on the lemur

Re: Can a Switch Object control other Switches
oh fully. like anything, we're building on the work of others. Antonio Blanca for sure, and the stuff Macczia(sp?) does with canvas is jaw-dropping. standing on the shoulders of giants, if you will. back to the topic though - if you dig through the templates available for DL, you'll find quite a lot ...

any sublime text users here?
I was thinking, sublime text has me a little spoiled - and i was wondering if anyone had created some basic syntax highlighting for lemur scripting in ST? if not, i'm gonna look into it. I've only got 1 1080p monitor, so i need all the screen real-estate i can get, and that script window cuts into ...

Re: Can a Switch Object control other Switches
Yeah totally! Softcore is kind of badass. I've been lurking for a LONG time on this forum, and the stuff he comes up with is damn fine. it really depends on what you want to do - but you can have any object control any other object, to the point where you can make a switch (or anything else) pop up ...

Re: work in progress: experimental onclock sequencer
really really digging this. I've been experimenting with some sequencers of my own, but nothing like this. hell - anyone who actually feels like they know it well, lets get a Rene sequencer going! (scary, I know)

Re: APC40 clone in Lemur possible?
@wul - first of all, I got your handshake idea from Lpad2 - definitely some tasty code under the hood there, and Shove is VERY impressive. I'm sure you've seen this wul, but if someone else here hasn't - here's a link to a site that not only hosts the original PDF, but a handy image reference of the ...

Hey there from Brooklyn
Obligatory hello post here! Owned the Lemur app for quite a while, but just not discovering (and barely understanding) multi-line scripts. I'm really just amazed at what is possible with this interface, and have to say, the purchase of an ipad was worth it for the Lemur alone :) I've been producing ...
