OSC - why are monitor values shown in 'quotes'?
This is surely a noob question, but, well...I'm a bit of a noob I've noticed that all my monitor values are shown with single quote symbols (i.e., '-0.5 dB', 'FX Param 1', etc.). Obviously, I'd like to remove these. Anybody know why they're there? For a bit of background...I'm designing a master ...

Help me create this OSC template? (noob)
Hi all, I am struggling to get off the ground with Lemur, although what little progress I have made so far, I am enjoying thoroughly :) As a starter project I'd like to create an OSC controller template that has perhaps 8-16 knobs/faders, and some buttons, and maybe some other things that I'll ...

I can send MIDI from Lemur --> Reaper, but not vice versa.
I cannot get bidirectional MIDI control working in my setup, and it's driving me nuts. I'm at my wit's end! In case this isn't clear: if controlling a soft-synth, moving a knob on the iPad moves corresponding knob on-screen; however, moving knob on-screen with mouse does not move corresponding knob ...

Lemur sending lots of unwanted MIDI data on play/rec
I'm using Lemur to control soft synths in Reaper. Windows 8.1, 64-bit. Using LoopMIDI. Using the default "Studio Combo" template, I can pull up a synth, select a preset and start playing on the keyboard on my iPhone/iPad. No problem. As soon as I hit play/record, however, MANY knobs on the synth are ...

Lemur sending unwanted CC messages whenever I play/record
Case in point: I open a soft synth, load a preset. As soon as I press "play" or "record" in my DAW, parameters on the synth will change. I'm not sure exactly which CC numbers, but I do know that a few of them are in the 70's (CC #71, #72, #79, etc.). Weird and obviously very frustrating. Any idea ...

Re: Bidirectional MIDI not working (goes in one direction on
FM8 standalone certainly sends MIDI feedback, because it has a MIDI in and MIDI out. As soon FM8 is loaded as a plugin in a host, it depends on the host's MIDI implementation. Arturia synths standalone cannot send feedback, but if they are loaded in a host that can, they should function bi ...

Re: Bidirectional MIDI not working (goes in one direction on
Update: bi-directional DOES work with FM8. Perhaps Arturia is to blame here?

Re: Bidirectional MIDI not working (goes in one direction on
...this can be difficult, or not possible. True, but go through checklist first before giving up ;) - Have you defined IN and OUT on Lemur Miditarget? - Have you also defined IN and OUT on your DAW/Software? (Attention: IN and OUT change on both sides: Lemurs OUT becomes DAWs IN and vice versa) In ...
