Re: Problems with Lemur and CoreMidi
Nick, Sorry I never got back to this issue. Can you tell me which model IPad you're using and which version of iOS? iPad 2. IOS 6. Any progress on background MIDI? Just to update that I am still having the problem. Again all other apps seem to work fine, recognize each other, recognize EIE. I have ...

Re: Problems with Lemur and CoreMidi
Thanks for getting back on this. Background MIDI is not fully supported at the moment. We are currently working on this What about the problem finding the EIE when connected to camera connection kit. This doesn't seem to be a background midi issue as it happens when just using Lemur and no other ...

Problems with Lemur and CoreMidi
I am considering moving my whole live performance setup from iPad with a computer to just iPad. But my experience using Lemur with an iPad 2 and iOS using internal Core MIDI connections has been terrible. It usually cannot find my other applications, such as Animoog and Loopy HD as MIDI out (or in ...

Re: Using w/ iPad without Computer. Current Status?
I am using the Akai EIE which is a class compliant usb device. Other apps can see it as a MIDI out(and MIDI in and Audio in/out).biologik wrote:What interface are you using?
Are you using iOS 6 and most up-to-date Lemur?

Re: Using w/ iPad without Computer. Current Status?
biologik, thanks for the info. So your USB midi interface shows up directly in your "Midi Targets" Under "Midi Targets" -> "To"?(without MidiBridge) What kind of interface are you using? Mine doesn't show up though it can be seen by Midi Monitor https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/midi-monitor ...

Re: iPad internal midi
Is it possible to use CoreMidi without an app like MidiBridge? Most of my other apps, Midi Monitor, animoog, Loopy HD seem to handle this fine. I am using iOS 6 on the iPad 2 and the latest version of Lemur. Lemur doesn't seem to handle this consistently. Problems I have found: 1. Lemur will ...

ipad 1 or ipad 2 for Lemur. Differences
Hi, I am thinking about buying a used iPad for using Lemur. I was wondering people have experiences with differences between using the iPad 1 vs iPad 2 with Lemur. Do they both perform well? Was wondering if the physics engine would work better with the iPad 2's faster CPU? Is it worth spending the ...
