Re: time/frame !
Perfect thanks, that should be an easy approach to incorporate. I wish I fully understood why the seemingly logical strategies I tried didn't give me such a responsive UX, but grateful to have an example of how to organise the scripts. Thanks again : - )

time/frame !
tearing my hair out i want to control a fader that is driven by a script involving time it means i need to use an On Frame execution - i think - but this creates all sorts of secondary problems with my switch to enable/disable the fader movement so i've reduced it to something very simple - i think ...

MicroBrute = No show !
The Arturia Microbrute is USB class compliant and does show up in other iOS apps no bother. However, it does not show up in Lemur ! But why ? Typically when I connect any usb device it is fine, same when I use a midi device, so it's not user error The only light I can shed on this is that the ...

Re: MIDI/float thinning
okay - bit late to this party - i can see that the physics mode being set to none makes the lagginess of the fader readout at the high value work as expected - albeit at the expense of a physics mode !

Re: MIDI/float thinning
Okay - Yep, that Thin expression tip works great too - had never used that before, i'm wondering if the issue with the steppiness of the higher value is because there's only 1 float position (ie 1.000) which outputs that value, whereas the others are happening more often it's very laggy going from 2 ...

Re: MIDI/float thinning
Aha Yep - thinning by that means does work - it addresses the main concern of the post however, i've noted that the output of values 126 to 127 is rather steppy if you create an inbuilt cc out or use a custom ctlout with the above thinning via the 'on expression' tip given above the faders will ...

Re: Alt (F)alt ?
okidoki i'll man up and overlook these niggles (try anyway), when you are fighting the environment and not the solutions/designs/algorithms etc it soon grates, but that's just me a bit of finesse on the front end is waaaaaaaaay more impressive than all the 'bells and whistles' that are out of reach ...

Re: Cannot drag to Library !
Thanks for confirmation ! I can also copy objects in the editor using Alt modifier, but when I drag to the Library Pane I get nothing, the editor pane briefly goes pink at the border! I'm unable to upgrade beyond Snow Leopard, well I could go to 10.7 but I won't, just as I won't upgrade my 4s to ...
