Re: Midi feedback with Logic 9
I found a link that sort of describes how to do it. It's pretty deep environment stuff, http://www.logicprohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=715 page 2 of that thread has some pretty good info. Might be over my head for now though. lol You can't bang parameters of a plugin. But what you can do is have ...

Re: Midi feedback with Logic 9
Glad it's working Trailerman.
If we could figure out the Bang command, we might be able to put a button in Lemur to retrieve all the current parameter settings of the channel strip and soft synths so they would show in Lemur. (unless there is an easier way)

Re: Midi feedback with Logic 9
So ... maybe you help me now.
I want to be able to "Bang" (meta #99 in Logic) all current parameters of a soft synth back to my iPad Lemur.
I'm pulling my hair out getting Logic to bang it out.

Re: Midi feedback with Logic 9
Here is how you do it: (unless I misunderstand your quandary) The monitor objects are optional. ** this implies you already have Lemur set up and are using a GUI you are happy with ** 1 - In Logic, cmd+8 will open your Environment. 2 - At the MIDI Instr. page, go New -> Add Instrument and make its ...

Re: Display program name in a fader or monitor
I fixed it for you --- sort of. But it's limited to 52 items and I added a little thing to make the fader and text box follow each other but I've somehow gotten it backwards. lol. I imagine there is some sort of an array that could be implemented for a more graceful solution here but I have no idea ...

Re: How do I send SysEx values from 0-3 instead of 0-127?
Well I don't know if it's right but it's working. Here is what I did: I used the range min,max function in a custom midi message. {...range(name of menu[index],minimum,maximum)} {0x00, 0x20, 0x33, 0x01, 0x10, 0x70, 0x40, 0x33, range(selection[0],0,3)} I'm nearly finished with the filter section on ...

How do I send SysEx values from 0-3 instead of 0-127?
This seems simple enough but I need to restrict the value output via sysex message to 0,1, or 2. I intend to use the "Menu" item along with custom midi message to make the selection. I need to select one of these: 0 = filter off 1 = filter 1 2 = filter 2 Then my custom midi message (sysex) is as ...

Re: lemur - sysex receive
That is AWESOME. It converts the values perfectly. Thank you so much.
I'm slowly beginning to get my mind around Lemur.

Re: lemur - sysex receive
Yes, create a new script, call it OnSysex or whatever and select F0 System exclusive from the drop list, MIDI 0, and the rest is ignored You can just add this to your script: Monitor.value = MIDI_ARGS; // given you have a monitor object if your sysex msg isn't too big you'll notice that you are ...

Re: Help: Send SysEx to Virus C using Lemur for iPad
Never mind. I figured it out. This instance uses Filter 1 Cutoff. 1 - create a fader named "Fader2" 2 - make the message system exclusive 3 - click the Custom Midi button 4 - set trigger to Fader2.x 5 - set data to {0x00, 0x20, 0x33, 0x01, 0x10, 0x70, 0x40, 0x28, 127*Fader2.x } note: Don't include ...
