Looks very nice. I'll certainly have a look at it.
Seems to have a lot of nice things that the Mackie protocol lacks

Re: Question about SurfaceLCD
Another thing: I'm not really familiar with programming code. So is there a site with a few examples so that I see, whats possible with lemur? I downloaded the MachineDrum-Map from the forum and did not know, that it is possible, to create a scrollbar, which is really helpful! Don't know. I'm all ...

Re: Cubase template and faders
I checked it out and it works like a charm! I don't really know what you mean by set the y to 112??? I don't see anywhere to do this im my version of the lemur software. Where is that? It works without it but perhaps it's needed for automation? I don't see a place to enter a "y" note on messgae. My ...

Re: Question about SurfaceLCD
Midi Yoke works fine when connecting from Cubase to Lemur (Over the Mackie protocol) displaying the track names as far as I've tested.
You could try to monitor midi messages to see if any SYSEX data is sent from Forte to the Lemur.

Which template did you use?iPad_User wrote:I just tried it, but the tracknames are not displayed.
Did the faders work?
If they did and you're not seeing track names it could be that your midi-port is not transferring SYSEX messages. What midi interface are you using?

Re: Question about SurfaceLCD
As far as I know the surface LCD is tightly coupled to the Mackie protocol (correct me if I'm wrong).
The surface LCD is update by SYSEX data sent from the host.
If Forte can be controlled by a Mackie Control there is a good chance that Lemur can too.

Re: Mackie interface for Cubase (iPad)
This is cool. What I really hoped for, that my template could be used as an inspiration and base for further exploration :D Also I thought Loopbe transferred Sysex, but the surfacelcd is not displaying the selected track names. I never got it to work with Loopbe. Reverted back to "good old" Midi ...

Re: Cubase template and faders
The cubase template that has been posted is good but does not have any control of the master fader. I noticed in the default projects that the bottom right section of the many ball template actually did make my master fader go up and down (in cubase 6 mac) when physics was on. All i did was to copy ...

Re: Mackie interface for Cubase (iPad)
Does your template update channel names? Yes they are always visible just above the faders. It displays the Mackie LCD panel there. And in channel mode (using pan, eq, sends and inserts) pararmeters and values (in real time) are shown. The tricky thing (if you don't see them) is that the midiport ...

Re: Mackie interface for Cubase (iPad)
This is the documentation I used for the Cubase implemetation. http://www.mackie.com/products/mcu/documents/Cubase_SX_SL_MackieControl.pdf Good for understanding how it works. Selected Channel & Fader Set modes are in the template. Global mode is not. This page, http://home.comcast.net/~robbowers11 ...
