Hey!
I'm wondering, if it is possible, to use the faders as drawbars? For this use I need to turn the fader 180°.
Is there any chance to get this working?
Thanks,
Chris

if there´s a way to invert the faders values you could use them as they are.
cheers

Well, in terms of values it's always just a matter of doing something like "1.-multislider.x" to get the inverse, and then you can do Color=black, light=-1 and you'll have a white drawbar coming down.
Hey,
thanks for your reply.
Your script works with multislider. But I tried with a fader and because there is no option, to set the light to -1 on faders, that is not working.
Is there another turnaround to use fader?

You could just set the scale to "127 to 0" instead of "0 to 127" when mapping your Fader to MIDI.
The mapping is not the problem.
It's curious, that it's not possible, to rotate an object easily.
I want a fader, which is coming down from the top, like the originals. Is this not possible with faders?!

No news on this?
I don't understand what you're trying to achieve that can't be done by inverting the mapping.
What do you mean by "a fader coming down from the top" ? Faders look the same upside down to me.

Like I said in the opening post, I want to turn the fader 180°. Of course I can still change the scale to 127 to 0, but that doesn't change the appearance of the fader. That's what I mean
I see. But what exactly would change in the Fader appearance when rotated 180° ? It's almost completely symmetrical as it is.
Thats right.
But the fader has kind of tail. And its very irritating if the tail comes from the downside (like a normal fader) and not from the top (like a drawbar) for someone, who want to use them as drawbars

Ok, in that case I can only suggest using the Multislider, as Faders don't support free rotation at the time.
Thanks for the help anyway
Multisliders will work too.

To do this, I would create a multislider, then?? Would I press the x=? button, or the script button? Either way, I put that script in the script box, and it stays red, with th yellow exclamation symbol by the variable in the project box.wetterberg wrote:Well, in terms of values it's always just a matter of doing something like "1.-multislider.x" to get the inverse, and then you can do Color=black, light=-1 and you'll have a white drawbar coming down.
