Hi

I've followed the installation steps and cannot get the Lemur daemon to list the ipad. Running OSX Lion 10.7.2, checked firewall settings.

I was able to upload a template from the editor via the wifi network without problems, in the same way as shown in the instruction video.
Please help..

Lemur Daemon not appear in the "setup" and the Lemur editor gives me an unexpected error and closes ...

For technical reasons I have version 10.6.2 and I can not update.

It worked for me with 10.6.8
High All
Did a quick check in Lion 10.7.2 - Editor appears to work fine for me.
At first I could not see the iPad from the computers Daemon setup app but then I did it from the iPad instead and now it sees it fine.

So for people having issues at the moment with accessing the iPad from the computer Lemur Daemon please try setting them up from the iPad
You can do that from the settings button at top right. and then you should also be able to see it from the computer.

Hope that helps
Cheers

Hi Guys,

Once you have the ad-hoc running the Lemur Daemon open and the Lemur Editor open you should launch the Lemur App from your device (iPad, iPhone, etc.) and assign the MIDI ports from the settings page, which you can access by tapping on the "gear" icon on the top right corner of the main screen.

In the Settings page of the Lemur app, assign MIDI 0 as follows:
From: Daemon Output 0
To: Daemon Input 0.
From now on every time you launch the Daemon and the App the ports will automatically be assigned.

Let me know if that worked for you guys.

Cheers,
Marino.
Hi Marino,

It worked both ways, as the manual also mentions.
The problem is that by watching only the video you come to expect the daemon behavior shown there - however that video depicts the behavior after having gone past the first time setup...
So the video is confusing in that sense.

I hope everyone else sorted their problems too. Thank you for all your time.
Hello, when I try to connect my Lemur (iPad) at same time that my Lemur (Legacy) I can´t. My Lemur Editor only lets me connect to one of them. Is it not possible?

Thanks and best regards!
Hi
You need to explain your problem better - what computer as it's bit different on Mac or PC, and what you do that does not work.
Process is -Connect to same network, Start Daemon, Start Lemur on iPad, connect MIDI via either the Daemon on computer or Settings on iPad
Try setting from iPad if you can't set it from the computer .
Liine support is good, and so is members Forum - Why say it is bad on first post?
The info is in the manual as well as shown in videos .
Please send more info.
Cheers

My problem is solved.
But liine support is wrong. In Liine manual is nothing about this problem. . Im not idiot. In liine manual is nothing about settings lemur app. Your info is not correct.
The manual is nothing that must be set ipad applications.
In the video it is shown only after he joins the ipad daemon.
This:

In the Settings page of the Lemur app, assign MIDI 0 as follows:
From: Daemon Output 0
To: Daemon Input 0.
From now on every time you launch the Daemon and the App the ports will automatically be assigned.

two hours I was looking for this.
It is such a problem to put it in manual or write it on the page so that no one had to look for. ?????????????
Hi
Did you read Chapter 8 - Targets Setup? With the picture of the Lemur app setup screens?
All this info is in the manual, including explanation of difference between saving in Daemon or on iPad.
And the video I just watched started with him starting the Daemon, starting the Lemur app, hitting the Settings button etc etc etc

Honestly I think you need to chill out a little bit, and do a little bit of research before complaining. . .

Cheers

Maybe the man, who already knows it all.
For me it is now also no longer normal, but your video is shit.
Read how many people it also did not work before it came. Just like me.
And you know what. I do not mind. Your thing.
Now I know how to do.
a bit of nerve, I was a little pissed off, two hours why this gentleman's connects and me no.
But what. Your bussiness

Sequence. Just a video put together differently. At first setting app and then connected to the daemon
