lemur daemon unresponsive

i had lemur working until something unknown happened to my laptop and i had to do a win8.1 full restore from backup image. the image was from before lemur was originally installed. now i've reinstalled everything as before, but the lemur daemon window doesn't respond to any clicks. ??
