OSC over ethernet on OS X?

Hey,
i'm wondering if it could work like this:
Connect an lightning to usb adapter to the ipad like this:

then using two of these usb to ethernet adapters to establish a connection via cable:

then connecting the ipad directly to the pc? What do you think? Any network gurus around here?
